Gandinho, nosso primeiro personagem, usa tradicionalmente a 'fantasia' azul e branca, além do turbante e das vestimentas, um perfume de alfazema e colares azul e branco. Os colares já são conhecidos tradicionalmente e são oferecidos para os admiradores como forma de desejar-lhes
paz durante o carnaval e ao longo do ano.
E cada um usa de acordo com a indumentária, da maneira que se achar elegante, não existe quantidade fixa de contas para cada colar, nem quantos colares se deve usar. Gandinho é conhecido por manter a avenida limpa durante o carnaval. Ele recolhe o lixo que os foliões menos conscientes vão deixando pelo caminho. Diz ele q o motivo de "catar lata" durante o carnaval é para ganhar dinheiro e poder comprar os instrumentos
da banda da Escola de Axé.
Já outros desconfiam que Gandinho quer mesmo é fazer muitas amizades na avenida e quem sabe encontrar
uma amizade que se transforme em amor!

Inspired by the principles of non-violence, Escola de Axé brings the tradition of friendship from Carnival to the avenue, rhythmically accompanied by the agogô in its ijexá chants in the Yoruba language. Gandinho, our first character, traditionally wears the blue and white 'costume', in addition to the turban and clothing, a lavender perfume, and blue and white necklaces. The necklaces are already traditionally known and are offered to admirers as a way of wishing them peace during Carnival and throughout the year. And each person wears them according to their attire, in whatever way they find elegant; there is no fixed number of beads for each necklace, nor how many necklaces one should wear. Gandinho is known for keeping the avenue clean during Carnival. He collects the trash that less conscious revelers leave along the way. He says that the reason for "collecting cans" during Carnival is to earn money and be able to buy the instruments for the Escola de Axé band. Others suspect that Gandinho really just wants to make lots of friends on the avenue and maybe even find a friendship that turns into love! So help Gandinho buy the instruments for his band! The more trash he picks up on the street and the more friends he makes, the more points you accumulate in the game.
